Ivory’s investment strategy objective is to deliver superior, risk-adjusted returns with low correlation to market indices, while protecting capital in all market conditions. Ivory seeks to achieve this objective by: (i) emphasizing superior security selection over broad market exposure, (ii) actively managing the spread risk, or correlation risk, between its long and short books, and (iii) developing processes and systems to optimize its investment process. Ivory has attracted and retained an exceptional group of professionals. The investment team’s substantial experience in the investment banking and private equity industries helps to shape the firm’s private market approach to public security investing.
